Chapter Six

Lilly woke, sprawled naked on top of Raff. He’d put the sides of the bed up after he’d nearly fucked her into oblivion and settled them for the night to get some sleep before morning.

Every detail returned to her memory. She’d had sex with the big predatory Viking lion man at least four times, plus the two times he’d gotten her off with his mouth. And they had been the best orgasms she’d ever experienced in her entire life. Above and beyond anything she could have ever imagined or hoped for. His soft snores had woken her.

She opened her eyes. The interior of the shuttle was still dark but faint light showed from the front, enough for her to make out the chest under her cheek. Raff’s arms were wrapped around her. One of his hands rested on her ass, the other at the small of her back. She was straddling his waist, her legs resting against the outside of his.

She lifted her head, peering at Raff. His eyes were closed. He didn’t look near as dangerous when he slept, his features lax. He was handsome. There was no denying that she was attracted to him like she’d never been before to any man she’d ever met. It didn’t seem to matter that he was an alien. She wasn’t sure if that should worry her or not.

They were married, basically. At least that’s what he’d implied. They hadn’t really talked about it since he’d cut their discussion off by fucking her. It was probably for the best since she’d certainly started to freak out.

The Enderlings, a race the research team had come into contact with on one of the planets, mated for life with their first sexual partner. She’d thought that romantic when she’d read over their reports and entered the data. They didn’t cheat as a race, committing to each other until death. As it had been explained, the male’s sperm acted almost like a DNA sequencer on the female, physically making her only receptive to him. And vise versa. They could only have children together. Her body would reject sperm from another male. They could only feel arousal toward each other too.

Was Raff like that? Had his sperm changed her on a physical level? She didn’t feel any different. Just slightly sore between her legs and tired. Both of those things made sense though since he was a big guy and she figured she hadn’t slept long.

A soft growl had her startle and she turned her head. There was something outside of the shuttle window in the front. Something big. It moved closer. It was too dark to make out the details but whatever it was, it wasn’t her imagination. The shadow moved again.

“Raff,” she whispered.

He kept sleeping. She gripped his shoulder, giving it a shake. His snoring stopped and his body tensed under hers. She looked at him and found his eyes open now as he gazed at her.

“There’s something outside.” She kept her voice low.
